Violeta
Dinescu

Violeta Dinescu was born in Romania in 1953. After finishing her
studies at the Ciprian Porumbescu Conservatory in Bucharest (composition,
piano and pedagogy), she was teaching theory, piano and aesthetics
at the George Enescu Music School in Bucharest. Since 1982 she has
been living in Germany and became a professor of applied composition
at the Carl von Ossietzky Univesity in Oldenburg since 1996.
