The
Infuence of Arab Music Elements on European Music

The
influence of Arab music on Europe simply can be proved with the
help of music instruments, practice of playing as well as of melodic
characteristics, rhythm and musical forms. What kind of exchange
really happened and how it came into being, will be the subject
of this lecture. It proves the evidence of the fact that cultural
exchange between Europe and the Islamic countries always has taken
place in the sign of peaceful contacts.
